oxygenics shower head
Those of you that have one, which I love, does yours still let out a stream of water when you push the button to soap up?

Heard before that this is by design, one side of the water system (I think it is the hot side) builds more pressure and if it did not let some water out there is the possibility of being scalded by the hot water when turned back on.

.......and yes it does trickle water by design for the very reason identified by RudysWorld.

Mine also, I researched it and as it turns out it is a design feature, with all handheld showerheads that have a shutoff, due to the chance of scalding, your not allowed to shut the water completly off. In other words, shisters, and potential law suits.

Yes it does trickle. I thought it was to prevent the line from blowing or from popping the head off under so much pressure. Lol. The hot water scalding sounds legit.

Sorry to be the Odd man out but we put a (Shutoff valve )on ours. As others have said some of the (Trickels can be Hot or Cold?) Lot of different plumbing factors enter into how H&C water mixes in a R?V? We have Not had a H&C problem with our system using the (Shutoff Valve). Youroo!!

Youroo, good explaination about the plumbing differences, that make it either a hot or cold dribble.
I used a similiar setup, installing a valve just under the shower head, and even though all valves sold as a plumbing application, have the built in dribble feature, it slowed it down considerably. The only valve that doesn't is for a garden hose application, being its cold water use only. The problem is the thread adaptation.

Still Kickin, the valve in my Pic.is a (100% shutoff) can be located at ACE HW stores. No mods needed just place it between output and shower hose. Thanks, Youroo!!

Youroo when you turn the valve back on is it still the temperature you set it at originally?
On the shower head I think I saw one with a valve/ trigger at the local lowes.
