Painting interior?

Have a 2021 Surveyor 240BHLE. The "wallpaper" is quite cheap and is already coming off in in small sections. No biggie but was wondering has anyone tried painting the interior before? I ask because I was already wanting to do it and seeing if anyone had tips? Just looking to some parts of the 'faux wood paper' parts to lighten up the cabin and to cover over the parts of stripped wallpaper.

Thanks in advance!

Did this on a prior motorhome. Used Kilz first and then just semi gloss latex. Didn’t have a problem doing it and looked way better. Lots of articles out on web for doing this. Some YouTube too
