Pantry beside refrig getting hot

So tried to figure out why the pantry cabinet beside my refrigerator, MicroLite 2104S, was always so warm inside. After ruling out the sun on that side and other easy fixes, I am thinking it is the motor from refrigerator. Has anyone ever put a vent in the pantry door? Only option thinking that would work.

Is this an RV fridge or a residential fridge?

For an RV fridge, the compartment behind the fridge generates heat which must be removed through convection (ideally) or assisted with a fan (normally). The heat is exhausted out the top through a roof vent or out the upper side vent if located in a slide out. If this air current is blocked or non-existent, the heat builds up in the compartment behind the fridge and transfers to adjacent surfaces and areas. When this happens, the fridge doesn't cool as well as it should/could.

A residential fridge usually just circulates the heat generated into the room where it is located. Could be out the bottom, out the sides, or out the back and over the top.

Hope this helps

If an RV fridge don't vent it inside or you will be allowing combustion fumes and CO into your trailer. You can add venting outside but it would be better to add fans to the existing airflow or chimney.
