Think it will work? Prevent billowing but plan on putting a tie wrap on arms during travel.
Hose clamp around a rubber strip at both ends of awning. Wrapped it in black tape just for looks, don't want the silver glaring at me when I glance up. A bracket and "S" hook secured under each clamp. Clears trailer fine.
Piece of aluminum stock drilled at each end. Long enough to reach the "S" hook from the ground. Wrapped in tape also to blend in and keep from scratching the trailer.
Spring at the lower end also with some black heat shrink on it. Insert it into an eye bolt mounted on the channel.
Stores in place after removing top end from the cylinder. Don't even notice it against the channel.
Hoping being secured at both ends will work. There is a fair amount of tension on the springs.
