Put in a new Loveseat Recliner!

We removed the old couch and put in loveseat wall-hugger recliner. Works perfect with our TV, which is on angle in the front of the RV over the passenger seat.

You must have read my mind. I’m looking to replace my sucky couch with a loveseat recliner. I have 62” and most I’ve seen have the recliner button on the outside which would be tight. This one looks like it works from an inside latch.

Yep. I'm really liking it so far (and it's wife approved!) We had 63 inch space to fill and this 58 inch loveseat is perfect. The release for the foot rest and recliner is between the seats and arm-rests.

Amazon has them too:

Nice looking unit you have there. We are going to replace the unit in our 5'r as well, but the one we have hasn't quite given up yet. Suspect we will go with a real leather unit or a fabric covered one.

We looked long and hard for a unit where the back comes off so we could get it through the RV door. Finally found RecPro.com. All their furniture is RV friendly.

Thank you for the video, very nice.

We would like to replace our jack knife love seat in our Coachmen with a wall hugging double recliner someday...

Took out the sleep love seat out of our Flagstaff 27RLWS and installed a leather love seat recliner from a local furniture store. The key was for us was the backs came off and fit through the door, etc.
Added benefit for some is nobody shows up and stays over unless they bring their own tent...huh!

Thank you. Did you have wheel wells there? It's right where something would go.

We just bought ours from RecPro. Love them, saved almost a $100.00 on Black Friday special. Free shipping, no tax, love it. They will send you a sample of the colors they come in.

Recliners

We replaced our jack knife loveseat with two recliners. Back came off both. Love it and my wife and I can recline or not as we want

Katy, fortunately it's behind the wheel well locations on a slide and the replacement love seat we used was within an inch of the original as far as the width.

My wife and I have a 2015 27RLWS and have done the same thing. Please tell me how you secured yours in the slideout and what size, quantity, style, and length of screws that you used, I’m very concerned about running through the bottom of the slide.
Thank you.

Queen sofa-bed replacement with recliners

I have been waiting to see what others had done about that crummy sofa-bed in the living area of the Georgetown. It is the perfect place to watch TV but not very comfortable. We decided to go for the best so here is what we got from 4Seating.com: 2 Powered sofa recliners with powered headrests, leather covered, zero wall clearance, in-arm storage, lighted drink holders, and small tables. These are the true theater recliners that leave nothing for improvement. Not cheap at $1200 apiece but fit exactly in the 69" space, which has a convenient 110V outlet ready for the recliner plugs. Go to their website for all the details. Shipping is free. Guests need to bring a tent.

Thank you.
Pretty much I made sure the depth of the screws into the slide floor was the same as the original sofa, for instance subtracting for the mountings they used under the original sofa, etc.
Bottom line? Enough to hold the replacement, but not too long so the screws would go through the bottom the slide.
I also added 2 more mounting points to make sure nothing was going to detach.
FYI: I installed the original round wood buns from the old sofa to the front frame of the new sofa that overhung the slide floor, just clears when the slide is in operation.

Anyone who did the replacement have a subwoofer behind the jackknife sofa. I am trying to figure out how to accommodate it with more comfortable seating.

I will second RECPRO. We also scored a BF deal and picked up the 58 inch reclining love seat. We took out the dinette in or Wildcat. New Love seat is in the middle with euro recliners on each side. We just need ideas for TV trays or lap trays for eating dinner?
