Thanks. 40 Ford is my favorite, but, I don't have one right now, I lost it in my divorce. That car in my signature is a 35 ford slantback, lost it too! I am finally back to good with a new wife that supports what I do and I am looking now for another one to build for my last street rod.

Yeah, I found a great wife, had to go to China to find her, but, she is the best thing I have ever done. I am looking for a car now, got enough women.

thank you so much,
John
I just checked mine on my Columbus. It says 350 #, and that is without a spare tire (our spare is suspended on a cable beneath the trailer.) So, 250# in addition to the spare tire is probably safe.

Thanks, if that is the case, I am ok with what I want to do. I looked at mine all over yesterday and the only sticker I saw was for 225 max and nothing else that I can see and it does not mention the spare. I looked all through my owner's manuals and nothing there, so I am depending on all the help here.
thanks again,
John

I just got a reply from John Jones at Palomino and he said the 225 pounds includes the spare tire. That answers my question, just not what I wanted to hear
