Recommendation for Solar Installers

Hi,

I’m a newbie to this forum and I’d like to know if folks have recommendations for solar installers in the SF Bay Area or close by. I’m getting a Wolf Pup
18TO and I’d like to get solar panels installed on the roof. I’m not anticipating heavy electrical usage when not plugged in directly, but I’d like to be able to utilize the solar for 2 - 3 days if electricity is not available.

Any recommendations for installers or things to ask for or avoid are greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Susan

If you don’t mind a days drive each way, AM Solar in Springfield, OR has an excellent reputation.

And their tilt panel mounts are nice! I have them on my four panels. Can tilt left or right

I had my panel on the roof of my last RV and hated it.. Seems like we were always in the shade.. If you want maximum output from your panel.. make it portable so you can move it around on the ground a few times during the day and following the sun, getting the proper angle also...

Hello Susan, as I'm sure you've discovered finding a solar installer who specializes in RV's is very difficult. Fortunately for you, we have a great installer in NorCal.

Dan Reshatoff with Quality RV Solar, LLC
www.qualityrvsolar.com

He specializes in RV solar systems. He moved from Livermore earlier this year and is operating out of Lake Wildwood, CA. He's booked out months in advance so getting on the calendar as soon as you can is advisable.

Here's a link to the system he installed into our new trailer.
