As someone who services them(residential) I tell all my customers to only buy from a family run business that services what they sell.

Service after the sale and during set up is worth any perceived savings buying from elsewhere.

I take it you are putting a residential refrigerator in a camper, let them know beforehand.

In the past 30 years refrigerators have changed.

The old GE in your dads basement full of beer no longer exists. In general their service life is single digits. Many have no warranties installed in an rv. And in general, they are fragile. The rv environment is bad.

Measure well. In many rv’s the units are installed before the walls! Four digit installation fees are common. Have to remove windows or a slide.
