Removing interior fender well boxes to make more room

I have a 99’ sandpiper toy hauler , it has been lifted so it has plenty of tire clearance was thinking of taking out fender well boxes on the inside of the trailer . Has anyone done this ? Tips? advice?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. I have not done this nor seen it done. With that said visualizing the project in my brain box it seems like it would be easy enough to do but a major amount of work to get the outside appearance to look acceptable and match the existing finish.
