Replace key lock on rv door to keyless entry

Has anyone changed a key lock to a keyless lock? Looking to do that. I have 2016 25ft class c sunseeker. There are so many out there. Any recommendations?

There's a thread on this here.

I've been pleased with Latch.it. Just like RVLock but cheaper in most cases.

I have an RV Lock and it's worked great since I installed it a couple of years ago. Mine arrived with a broken inside deadbolt handle (courtesy of UPS driver).

Contacted RV Lick, told them if problem via weekend e-mail, and asked for replacement. Told them I could install myself.

E-mail was answered within hours and 3 days later USPS delivered a replacement.

Hard to beat Customer Service like that.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

We just put one on our new East to West 2850 KRL. LOVE IT. They are a little temperamental to install but once you get it on its great.

Thank you! Wondering if I should even put one in my motorhome. If someone wanted to break in they could just break the passenger or driver side. Idk

It's more of a convenience thing, not having to fumble around for a key(s). I could see it being help at times.

I just installed one this weekend. Got ithe RV Lock one on Prime day for almost $100 off! It went in pretty good, had a hard time of where to exactly put the wiring in when putting together but other than that it's great. The door is a little harder to close and everything is adjusted out as far as possible but hoping it will get easier with time. I love it.

Piece of cake mod, You won't be sorry. The only thing I would caution is that if you get an RV Lock, make sure you order the upgraded all metal one. I have read many reviews where people were unhappy with the basic RV Lock because of the plastic construction. IIRC, Latch It, on the other hand, are all metal. When I got my RV Lock, I ordered the metal one. My neighbor ordered from Latch It. Seems to be no discernible difference that I can see, and he is just as happy with his as I am with mine. I also just recently ordered from RV Lock, keys for my pass thru that are keyed alike to the entry door lock. They work much smoother than the 751's that come standard on all RVs....

My door has two (2) locks. One locks the handle the other is a deadbolt. Takes the dealer a long time to find a key for the deadbolt. The deadbolt key also works the handle lock (and the bed doors on my Roo).

Inconvenient to carry a camper door key? We use the camper a few weekends a year (and not yet this year) yet the deadbolt key (above) is one of 2 keys on my car key ring. Been this way for 15 years. Car key + camper key.
