Replace window wall AC
My PaloMini has a window ac unit in the sidewall. It seems to be glued with super glue LOL. Refuses to budge to be replaced. Is there something special that needs to be done to get it out?

Nothing wrong with a Sawzall. Just buy a larger unit to fill the hole.

Did you remove the insides so it is just the shell in the wall? It is probably screwed into the wall

I tried and gave up
I had a Palomini 142sk with the window AC. I gave up trying to remove the unit.
According to Palomini tech support they use Proflex to bond the sleeve to the AC. I purchased and made tools in attempt to get beyond the adhesion but gave up when I started to make holes in the bottom of the sleeve.
All I was attempting to do was install a compressor start assist Super Boost to be able to run the AC from a 1000 watt inverter generator.

Wow. Right. It’s like it’s glued stapled and screwed in. Couldn’t get anywhere trying to remove and replace it

What do they expect you to do if the AC fails and requires replacement?
