Replacing fabric in electric awning

We have a 2015 Salem Cruise Lite 261XLBH and after only 2 years, our patio awning is needing replacement. It's badly mildewed, NOTHING on the market will clean it, and were already noticing little cracks in it.

We're pretty handy so thinking we should be able to replace it ourselves. Has anyone else done this? Just wondering how difficult it is?

I'll be doing the same thing this fall or might wait until spring, at least we got 7 years before the severe cracks, have it taped for the rest of this year. (clear gorilla tape).
