Reverse lights

I have decided that backup lights are in my near future for the TT as well as some additional work/reverse lights for the TV.

I am undecided on how I would rather do the TT lights, since the rear bumper is worthless and I can't fit my septic hose in it, I thought about adding 6" oval Cree LEDs recessed. Only downside is I wouldn't be able to angle them outward.

Anyone have pictures of their installs

Don't have picture of my prior TT where I did install a set, but could I ask if your use is to 1) inform others around you that you are backing, or 2) illuminate during night landings at the CG? If the latter, the ovals you will find, even LED ones, aren't very useful at all unless you have a reverse camera as well. They simply do not illuminate much area at all. Lights with a "driving light" reflector and lens pattern will give you the best illumination for smallest cost on either your TT or TV. If budget is no matter, a nice LED light bar (like those used on desert runners) would hug up nicely under the trailer bumper, give you control of aim, and give great light!

Reverse lights

The purpose will be for illumination at campgrounds. We tend to leave out after work on Friday and arrive a lot at dusk or dark.

I found some ovals that are running the Cree LEDs with more of a focused bezel, I'll have to compare the watts of them to some other lights. They also have square recessed lights that are pretty good price.

I've also considered using the squares and having a bracket cap fabricated to enclose the bumper which would allow for an angle as well as a direct rear facing

I had back up lights on my Ranger Trail boat trailer and loved them. I travel a lot at night. I have oval LEDs in my TV rear bumper. When backing it makes it harder to actually see where when hooked up (illuminates off front of trailer).

If you hook up LED floods on the back of you TT and tie them into your TV reverse you will love them regardless of back up camera.

Check out Cree 18w 6 LEDs. You should be able to do it for under $100.

There are no better lights out there than Rigid Industries LED lighting. Here is a link. I used them for front lighting and reverse lights. They are extremely durable and bright. LED Lighting | Rigid Industries[0]=field_product_family%3a5
