Roadmaster Comfort control shocks

Added the shock system to our 321 Freedom Express this weekend. Directions were spot on and the system is really top notch. With all the right tools, the install really wasn’t too bad. I’ll give it a test ride later this week.

Seeing how some trailers bounce going down the road when they pass, that's got to be a big improvement!

How long have you had them on? How many miles? Was there a difference in towing or just everything inside getting bounced around.

I noticed several differences. The porpoising virtually went away, no more damaged bike racks, braking is better and no wandering down the highway and chucking is gone. Probably have about 450 miles since installed.

I see one problem with those shock mounts. They are below the tire scrub line. So if you have a blowout you loose the shock/mount. Just know from building hot rods.

Those shocks hang below the tire rim. If you get a blow out they will be destroyed. It might even pole vault the trailerby the looks of it.

Those shocks extend beyond the tire rims. If you get a flat they will be destroyed.

They only hang below the rim if the springs are below the axle tube. You're good when the spring pack is above the axle. Not all rv's are the same.

Well those springs are below the axle tube and clearly below the rim. Whether or not all RVS are the same is moot in this case.

Different with dual shocks at each wheel. At least these are above the scrub line!
