Roof vents and skylight

I just bought a 2011 30wfkss v-lite, took it home to El Paso TX the outside temp. was averaging between 105 and 108. I was going to tint the skylite but instead I picked up solar screen at Lowes home improvment it bloccks 90% of light the factory vent screen is held in with hot glue so it is easy to replace just remove screen and take out old screen hot glue new in. The skylite in the bath room I just removed the inside frame and hot glued the a double layer of screen to th back of the frame it works great.

Please describe the screen. I am from Texas also and the heat coming thru the skylight over the shower is bad. I was thinking about taking the inside frame out and putting tinted film on the back side. Anyone else have a solution, and/or suggestion?
