RV A/C Mod - improve airflow
I wanted to let others know there's a super easy way to get your airflow pressure restored and quiet the A/C down at the same time
https://www.printables.com/model/927...mprove-airflow
This kit makes it possible for anyone without spending hardly anything, it's the cheapest kit on the market.

What AC did you install this in? Mine is Dometic 13K BTU.
Trailer is home and my 3D printer is ready.

Works on Coleman, dometic, and others. The dometic 13.5K and 15K are supported. For a full list of supported systems go to the link above.

Thanks, I did look at the link. Downloaded all the files. Printed one and the size of it and the other pieces and disassembly required "scared" me. It's 90zillon degrees out there in my driveway today, the AC is running fine, so I stopped fooling with it for now. I need to read all the instructions again and determine just what parts I need to print other than the Y-duct which printed effortlessly (I did use some "tree" supports.)
Is this your design?

It's my design. I've gotten several pms for custom sizes, it's been pretty successful getting people something that works for them that isn't on the market anywhere else.
For example the original dometic brisk isn't supported by any other product but this one. There's been some people with a single duct that didn't need a Y-splitter.
Overall the low cost of the files and lowet cost of printing has enabled DIYers like myself access to these improvements.

According to the warranty card my AC model is Dometic 57915.541.
Here's the text from the manual cover. Seems this is a Brisk Air"? Unit is 20 years old and still runs perfectly.
INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
520 Series DUO-THERM HP
530 Series DUO-THERM HP HEAT PUMP
579 Series BRISk AIR
590 Series BRISk AIR
591 Series HEAT PUMP
595 Series QUICk COOL
600 Series PENgUIN
630 Series PENgUIN
Since the printer is running flawlessly today I may as well run the parts I need for installation later. Any assistance appreciated. (I'm printing in ABS.)

I paid $85 for these from KoolRV. Work fantastic and easy to install. How much does it cost to print them?

If you don't have a 3d printer there's an etsy store that sells the parts. Search "RV AC mod" in etsy

Working on a tiny roof leak * this weekend so the AC goes back in the nice but not vital pile. Area where the shower skylight took a direct hit from a Kamikaze tree limb last summer and shattered the skylight. Replacement has worked up to this week when I noticed tiny drops into the shower. Wasn't rain (cuz we had none) but the runoff from the AC. Bought the files and now hoping Thulfs can tell me which parts I need to print for my Dometic 579 series Brisk Air.
Cost for the 3D parts? The materials cost nothing. The biggest piece, the Dometic Brisk One Y-thingie, requires 84 grams of filament @ 3¢/grain. Took 2hr 45min to print on my printer.

I did all my research, dug into the AC system, and found that my Rockwood 2513s AC was perfect. No need to mod, at all.

Didn’t take long for Printables site to remove it. Is there a way to get the file(s) from you for Coleman Mach units?

Unfortunately I took it down myself. We're currently involved in a legal matter. We fully expect to be back online soon but there's still a couple more steps left. Apologies the link doesn't work currently. Please reach out if you have any questions!
