Salem trailer mod Added window

This is our winter trailer modifications. It all started with a broken jack knife sofa that we reinforced. Then moved on to adding a new window and doors for storage. It looks just like factory!Click image for larger version

Oh wow that is certainly a great mod on the Salem cruise lite which is the same model like ours with slightly different details. DW will appreciate it as it will provide more cooler air movement. That bed compartment in that spot tend get too warm due to lack of air movement. Did you have friends do the job or professionally done? Btw did you ever get the back pack rack installed on yours?

How did you know where to cut? If there is one thing we want to change on our trailer, it is another window in the Bunkhouse.

Same here. I don't like that the bike door side bunk doesn't have a window. I'd love to have one installed in the door.

He cut the inside first so if he ran across any wires or anything he would not damage itit. Also he lined it up directly below the upper window to make sure it was against a stud

Looks great! They did a professional job - can't tell that it didn't come that way from the factory.
