Talking Samsung 70" TV Swivel Mount.

So I really always hated the cheap Westinghouse TV that came in my trailer, I think it was 42"... Anyway I have like 6 Samsung TVs laying around so I decided to put the big 70" in. My problem was how can you angle it so you can sit on the couch or pullout bed to watch TV? That back wall is just a 1/2" piece of particle board that would never support 90 lbs! So I took the fireplace out and went up underneath and bracketed 2 strong boards across at all 4 corners and used bookshelf supports to tie the back wall to the mantle and top cabinet. Then I drilled out and put 1/4" toggle bolt screws into the boards behind... You get the picture it wasn't easy! But you can hang 200 lbs. Now! I also did the upstairs too!

Well who doesn't? I practically live in this trailer. My next project is too make it almost completely solar I'm going to cover the roof with panels and see how much juice I can get. Cut my electric bill by 89% hopefully if my math is right?

Everyone says it's really hard to make a trailer livable throughout the Winter. I live in northern Massachusetts it's been around 12° average the past 8 weeks. My water, my heat everything is running like a top! No thanks to the way the trailer came but months of upgrades and planning. I'd be happy to share what I've done and learned to make all that happen and I'm using 70 amps total. At - 6° outside it was still 67° in here! If anyone is interested?
