Satellite Radio

Anyone use satellite radio in their travel trailer? I'm thinking about adding this to our new Cherokee trailer. I already have a vehicle subscription and the options for listening are endless compared to over the air. My wife tells me we are glamping not camping! I guess I see her point with satellite tv, blue ray/ps3 (for rainy days), multiple tv's....I like gadgets lol.

I might look at getting a radio that you could take back and forth and save the cost of another subscription. I did install one in our last RV with the antennae by a window and it worked great.

I have the satellite radio that came with my Windjammer, works great. I also have one in my f250. I activate the tt for about 3-4 months of camping, then call them and have it turned off, they will often offer good deals to keep it on longer. I plan on doing the same thing in a few weeks for our first trip of the year.

Ive got XM that i used for years. I just put the antenna towards a window that faces south and usually get signal. If not then ill just toss it on the roof. When youre in places where you cant get good radio stations, its great.

Now since i got Directv in my trailer, i use their music stations and run them through the rv stereo inputs.

Thanks for the replies. Tim I honestly forgot about the music stations on satellite. I just recently installed a tailgator system in the trailer so that would suffice.
