Nope, I am not talking about any kind of the back up camera. I am looking for the secure cameras that I can use to monitor around the trailer, when I am inside the trailer.
The kind of cameras that don't require WIFI.

I use a lot of game cameras in the field. If you can find where to hang them, they'd work great. Trailcampro.com has all of them.

Can you watch them live, or just recording trail cam?

Mine just record to an SD card. The fancy ones have a cell phone connection for real time.

I have a 4 camera night owl hd system on my trailer. Also use it wil an iPad and a Wi-Fi connection as a back up camera ( although it’s delayed).

It’s a simple 4 camera system I primarily set it up to monitor things around me while driving. But using a hdmi cord an a mouse I can view them live on the tv. I wired everything directly into 12v so it operates off the battery. It’s easy to setup and use.

I don’t have any pictures right now with the slide out right now. And it is expandable to 8 cameras. I have one looking forward. One looking backwards and one looking down each side.


The difficult part was running all the wires inside.

Nick, I’m curious why you think you need security cameras to monitor around your trailer?

Simply, I want to see what may be outside of my trailer, when I am inside. Same thing as my house.

Take a look at "Wyze" cam. It does take a wifi and will record to sd card without wifi. $20 bucks for cam $10 Bucks for sd card. USB powered.

Another option is small 12 volt backup cams from Amazon plus you have to have a small wifi transmitter for each cam. Both you can see on phone app.

I use the small backup cam and wifi transmitter to observe trailer ball hitching from side during hitching, tow vehicle backup cam is used for straight on hitching view.
