Slide awning install

I know someone has done this, need your help. To install an awning on our slide. Is it critical where installation screws go into the walls/ skin, to have enough strength to hold the roll up tension. Any need to search for studs to attach to. Forrest River Flagstaff 21 fbrs.

If you look at the rail, screws are just a few inches on center. You will hit something, and otherwise spreading the load through many fasteners so they don't individually need high capacity. The tension really isn't as much as you might think. The real key, install that rail perfectly parallel to the top of the slide!
