Talking Solid and stable

So I was at the Quartzsite RV show today and walked into the Redlands Truck and RV Booth. I was shocked and amazed at being offered same day RV service with parts in stock. They came ready. So I said sign me up for...

four Koni shocks
Super Steer rear trac bar
front and rear Roadmaster anti-sway bars
Safety plus steering control.

I had planned on putting these items on over time to improve the ride of my E450. These guys did it all in about 3 hours. I gave them alot of money and hoped it was a great improvement for my cost.

I didn't think my unit drove that bad before the install. Some small tail wag, little bit of soft floaty sway. Feel a little side push from the toad. I little wag when passed by semi trailers.

Afterward I must say I was greatly impressed! steering is tight and quickly self recenters. The RV does not lean or tip from steering input, it just steers. It is not a rocking ship that takes time to recover from running over a driveway trench or curb at an angle. I drove it over a winding paved road before and after install and a huge improvement. It feels real solid and stable. I was never really white knuckle prior but now doesn't feel floaty at all (only 15000 miles). I used to have to follow the speeds on the yellow cautionary signs, now I'm able to go faster with great confidence. I have not driven freeway speeds, was not a problem before and I haven't hooked the Toad yet, back to the campsite.

So Far I would definitely say that the E450 30ft plus motorhome can be greatly improved if want to spend the money. This is not an advertisement for Redlands RV, just giving credit where credit is due.

I’ve had exceptional work done by them on my fifth wheel. Trailers aren’t their forte, but they still did a good job.
