Stabilizer jack mounting

Today I put on my stab jacks, my frame is an "I" beam type and not very wide, so I got a piece of 2x2x12" angel iron one on each side of the frame and bolted it to the jack, no holes in the frame. works really well.

Nice!

I’ve seen everything from self tappers to chicken “bleep” welds that were ugly and barely functional.

All you need is to keep them from falling off down the road. Most from the factory are even attached with self tapping screws.
