Table base conversion

I am looking to install permanent pedestals on my table which is in the slideout. Question is how long should the screws be? The base uses # 12 screws and I could not find 1" at Home Depot, bought 1 1/4" screws but don't know the thickness of the flooring in the slideout.

i did the same conversion but my table is not in the slide. i would say your 1 1/4 screws are too long. 3/4 inch screws would be more like it. maybe someone else will chime in that has completed the mod in your model. good luck. i just reused the screws that were holding the folding legs under the table. check how long they are.

Just completed the table mod in my 831fkbss and my table also is on the front slide. I found that #10 3/4 in. screws did the trick. I was able to lift the carpet and measure the thickness of the floor and determined that it was between 5/8 and 3/4 thick. Decided to go with the 3/4 in. screws and it worked like a charm.

The table flanges and posts came from camping world, the screws were from Home Depot. Very easy mod...completed in under 1 hour and DW loves the fact no more spilled food
