Teakwood shower mat for our 2022 GT7

2022 GT7 36D7. Thought this turned out nice. Custom made teakwood mat for the shower. Adds a little style to other wise bland white shower closet. Feels great on the feet and will keep the bottom from being a little slick. Anyway want to share.

Very nice indeed. Where did you source the teak?
I presume you used stainless fastners?

Did you just cut out a cardboard template and send it in?

Nice

I think those look very sharp and have to be better than the slippery floor. I have mini lite 2109s with standard shaped shower floor. They have some on Amazon that will fit. That’ll be my next purchase

I am with on the floor being slippery one reason for this. Odd shape had to get one made plus looks kind of jazzy

Thats really nice. I think we are going to get one made. Our NOBO shower just seems cheap and I am looking for anything to make it look fancier but also the shower pan is soft on the edges and this would help also strengthen the floor overall.

Reminds me of the shower points at Quang Tri, only we didn't have teakwood. We had plain ol' wooden pallets. Shower shoes were a must have!

I thought you did this yourself! I was so impressed. Well, you did a good job cutting the template. Really kicks it up a notch, very nice.

I was considering a teak floor and your pic makes my decision. Looks great. Our shower is rectangular, so no need for a custom. I found some on Wayfair.com that are reasonably priced and are a close fit. I will have to trim a little to fit. Doing our home shower while I’m at it.

Have to admit the wifey did the template. I don't have the patience for something like it for sure would not fit if I made it

It just jazz up the GT7. We are happy with it

Thanks for the replying

Great idea! Our son made us one for the outdoor shower so we aren't standing in mud. Now to see if it fits in the shower. Bed, Bath and Beyond has several in Teak, Bamboo and Acacia wood. Some of them are under $40.00 and I'd expect they could be cut to fit if you are a little handy. Thanks for sharing.
