The importance of wine!

Hey everyone, I have been following this form for quite a few years but now I am remember because I need to know who has custom made any wine racks? In my model TT Which is my second and I love it so much, I have an outside kitchen with a second microwave mounted in the upper cabinet. We might count on one hand how many times we use a microwave during our year more less have the need for two microwaves within 10 feet of one another. Or TT is furnished with very nice wood and was hoping that somebody could drop some ideas or even pictures of what they did to incorporate the finer beverages into a rack system.

I also have to add that a huge thanks goes to this whole form for everyone’s input and great threads that I have counted many many nights a week reading.

Welcome from Southeast Virginia!

Love a good glass of merlot, but my medications don't care for it.

Happy travels!

Then again if you plan on drinking it all but bottles being charged might make for a better pour

And they won't roll around if you choose to "lay down" your wine like a true foodie..

If you send a photo or two of where the wine rack would go, along with dimensions you are thinking of, my DH is really good at coming up with ideas/drawings! Erinn

Well indeed a box of wine even has a handle on it for those that need two, I preferred to have a variety of more drinkable wines. It's nice to be able to still do a soft non-fragile container but I was also looking for a more aesthetically pleasing solution as well.
Now if only they could put beer in a gallon box.

And where, pray tell, did you find that wonderful little rack for the wine box? Wifey wants to know, of course. Personally, I'm a "lay 'em down on their side" kid of guy.....

My Bride solved the problem of a wine rack in the TT. She got an empty wine box from the liquor store, w/ separators, and she found that it fit snuggly under the dinette seat. Safe for travel so there's no need pack it away when it's time to go. We have numerous wine racks at home and all they are is dust collectors. Her idea of "aesthetics" when it comes to wine is a full glass, not where the bottles are stored.

I love your system! It also works for us here on Vancouver Island. I will look forward to seeing what will be written on this thread in the future as there is always a need for better storage in an RV for sure and anything built to store wine has just got to be great, regardless! LOL.

Tell her it was Etsy.com but I think it is no longer available.

Black Box Cab fits perfectly. No room for a coffee pot in the rv though...
Priorities. 🤣

How hot does it get in that outdoor kitchen? I see that you've got a cover over the whole rig, but does that keep the heat down in the outdoor kitchen? Wine doesn't like to be stored in a hot location.

I like the wine box/w separators idea inside the rv. Keeps it in a climate controlled location and is easily accessible. Easily accessible is the most important feature.

So it took me a day to think of a way to measure and scale to when summer and all it’s glory would be in that area and with adding a bit more for the fridge compressor as well, I came up with a number half as hot as the closest star. So that was a very good point and super glad I didn’t build something just to find all the corks have been pushed out after I get to a site? So RS thank you for that!

I think I shall still try to fine a use here other than that stupid micro. Rich
