Underbelly mods

I am looking at adding perforated aluminum sheets to plastic underbelly.
Has anyone already done this mod?

I do not mind the inquiry.
Underbelly has plastic mat which allows chipmunks, pack rats, field mice easy access to chew through.
We live in mountains near forrest in Colorado.
Want a barrier to there teeth.

Having trouble with critters? Don't recall problems like this here other than at openings where they can get thru easily. Bronze wool in those areas works well (steel wool will turn to brown dust).

Fair enough. I read a lot of web forums, Reddit, and FB groups and have never heard of anyone doing so. More times than not, you'll find the openings for the underbelly and just about everything else has big gaps. You'll want to fill those with steel wool or the like as much as possible.
