I have a Airxcel furnace with an analog thermostat on the wall.
I also have an Airxcel AC with a Coleman Mach control panel. The control panel has a temp knob which controls a thermostat with a metal tube for sensing the temperature of the return air. No wall or separate thermostat.
Is it feasible? Sensible? to replace both thermostats with a single wall mounted digital version?
Any links to how that could be done?
Searching just seems to bring up replacing a wall mounted AC thermostat with a digital version.
Update - I have found these - is this what I need?
Thermostat:

Control unit:

And once upgraded can I ditch the switch that I installed to only turn the fan on when the compressor is running?
Thanks!
