Upgraded our 2109s Stabilizers

Today I pulled off the cheap flimsy China made 2500 lb Stabilizers and replaced them with some American made 7500 lb Stabilizers. B I G difference!

The EAZ-LIFT Stabilizers bolted right up too. Very easy upgrade.

Pictures didn’t come through but I’m ver interested to learn more as we have a 2109s and even with the wheel chocks we get a lot of bounce!

Even the steel just looks more substantial in that Eaz-a-lift. Not expensive either. $81 a pair on Amazon. I may have to look at doing this as well.

Which trailer do you have? I presume you put on the 24" models as you said 7,500lb. Also was it the same size socket as the original one to extend it?

These stabilizers are obviously way more than needed but they work very well in not only keeping the trailer steady but they don't seem to "back off' and loosen like the factory ones. Any stabilizer will work best if they're not extended much past 1/2 way so blocking up helps greatly.

The pictures are there but for some reason you aren't seeing them.
Check them out at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

We have a 2109s (in thread title). Yes, 24" and they come with a socket and it's the same size as the old stabilizers... 3/4" I believe.

Nice!
Thanks for sharing.
Bet your noticing a stability difference in the RV.
Our last RV used stabilizers (China type) and on one camping trip I sat away from it watching family as they entered and exited. Noticed the wheels were moving as they went in and out even though I had wheel chocks front and back.
Did a bit of research and purchased Tire Locking Chocks. These really improved the stability.

I get a "WARNING" from McAFee that the site you're using for pics is classified as "RISKY". I won't open pics from there.

Do you use a Rubber Mallet on your chocks ? I always give mine a couple good taps when I'm set up. If the tires have room to move, chocks aren't tight.

It's probably not the site, but one of the "Pop up adds" that the photo site is trying to display. More often than not, that is the issue when a site is blocked as risky or malware from a commonly used site. Try it again later, and the odds are you will get a different set of ads and it would not warn you.
