Wallpaper question.

I have purchased a 2020 Wolf Pup 16FQ. The previous owner drilled several holes in the walls. Also, removed something they had stuck to the wall, and pulled off a 3 inch square of wallpaper. I'm looking for suggestions on how to repair this damage. Can I wallpaper over the original factory wallpaper? Thanks for your help.

Since it’s a 2020 model, you can probably get the exact wallpaper used on on your RV from Forest River, and make a color matched patch. For various projects, I have obtained the matching color and pattern for my 2020 Sunseeker, both for the wallpaper and the woodwork. Forest River calls it “seam tape”, but depending on the particular tape you need and how it comes from the supplier, it could be available in a width anywhere from an inch to 4 feet.

Forest River will not sell to customers directly, so you would need to go through a dealer, and provide them the year, model, and interior color scheme of the RV.

The attached pictures are an example, showing the 4 foot wide wallpaper I ordered from Forest River. It’s peel and stick.

Wallpaper question.

Thanks for your quick response. I'll contact the dealership where I purchased the camper and enlist their help.

Another question- any other suggestions for repairing the damage to the walls? can I use any peel and stick wallpaper or shelf paper (i.e. contact paper) over the OEM wallpaper ? How about painting over it? Any suggestions will be appreciated . Thanks in advance .

My wife has installed some peel and stick wallpaper in our RV. We got it from Lowes. She said the wallpaper is tougher and sticks better than drawer liner contact paper. Go over it with a hair dryer and roller or plastic spreader after you get it in place to give it a better stick. Here are a couple photos where she did the white covering dark brown with some texture (like in the corner over the dinette) to lighten it up. Pictures are held with double sided tape stuck on top of wallpaper.

Hmmm,, I'm probably NOT going to show that to the DW! It does look awesome though! It certainly brightens up the slide.
