Wardrobe leak

Last night it rained extremely hard and my wife noticed a small drip under a corner of our wardrobe slide. I grabbed my raincoat and went outside and notice that the rain was running down the side of the slide and then rolling under the slide and eventually toward the inside of the camper. All I did was take a strip of duct tape and run it along the gap under the slide and it seemed to work. When I get home I am thinking of running a rubber strip along the bottom opening of the slide because there isn't anything there right now to prevent this from continuing. Has anyone done something similar or have a better solution?
