We need a new bed.

We have a 2006 Work and Play 26 DB. It has fold down beds in the cargo area. An odd sized double. The others are bunk beds that work fine for the Grand Kids. The double is very uncomfortable and I have tried to find an air mattress that would fit with no luck. Does anyone know of a company that will custom build an air mattress?

Thanks

This company does. If you send them the measurements, they'll send you a quote.

I haven't used them myself, just found them on the net.

Another good idea is to buy a memory foam and cut to size, and put on top. That's what we did, it's expensive but super comfy. Makes your bed a dream bed.

And if you want to be real comfortable, consider pricing a Sleep Number mattress. A friend of mine just bought a 300,000 dollar Holiday Rambler Motor home this weekend, A 40 footer and it came standard with a queen size Sleep Number bed...... We replaced our old pillow top mattress at home and bought a king size Sleep Number, they are fantastic.

I bought a full queen for my 5'er from here http://www.sleepbetterstore.com/

Every bit as good as my sleep number in the house and a WHOLE lot less expensive.
