What to replace day night shades with

Like most new campers, our day night shade broke. Does anyone know if I can just go to Home Depot and order a mini-blind or do I need to order mini blind from an RV Store?

Of course you can repair the day night shade easily also. My wife really does not like the day night shades though as yours may not. You can just get a mini blind from home depot or something but make sure that the mounting components are up to snuff. Some are just to flimsy for RV use.

Very easy and alot cheaper to restring them than to replace them. Here's 3 links for you.

Replaced all of ours with Levelor blinds from Lowes. They cut each one to fit width and they work great.

Replaced all of ours with aluminum mini blinds. Ordered from justblinds.com You can get the exact sizes off your day night shades and send them to justblinds, we got a perfect fit on all of them.

We also replaced all of our day/night shades with alum. mini blinds. Needless to say we both hated the day/night shades.

Why do you hate your day/ night blinds? I'm curious because I don't have black out blinds and wish I had night time privacy.

They were a PITA to raise and lower. Love the venetian blinds!

I and DH did not like the pleated blinds so we raised them and removed the decorating curtains and I made full curtains for the entire camper except for bedroom which has metal mini blinds.

We replaced all of our paper day/night blinds with MCD shades. My husband is very light sensitve, they did the trick.

Curious. Does anyone has a day/night shade that was 'too short?' Our new SOB TT has two that don't come down enough. When they're down as far as they will go they have quite an upward bow at the bottom.

We like our day night shades. They pull easily after a couple slight adjustments to loosen the strings. I hate trying to clean mini blinds. Can never get both sides clean and clean in the corners. Just dust the shades and done.
