Window Shade “Klack Klack” Annoying?

The title says it all.

Whether your shades/blinds are making banging noises from road sway, your mischievous kitty or that gentle breeze coming through the window, there’s that “klacking” noise just refuses to stop.

Short of a trip to the sanitarium, what’s a traveler to do?

Get a small pool noodle. Yep, cut off some 2” donuts, slit each for the shade and slide them on your shade bar at the bottom of your shade. Put them on the blinds, put them on the shades and put a few on anything that hangs and bangs.

No.More.Noise

My method is invisible and smaller. You’d never know my modification was in place. They’re on the shade bar but facing the windows.

When I bought my coach from a private party last year, the guy had large plastic clips(almost like big clothes pins) on all the shades. Said he hated the rattling. After forgetting to put the on the first couple drives, I knew why. I don't forget anymore .

My method is to just keep the shades up and horrify everyone who cares to take a gander. But yeah, the breeze clack is annoying.

The fuzzy side of Velcro strategically placed fixes it nicely, similar to what kenandterry does.
