Electric Fence
Don't try this unless you like a hair perm.

Same thing kinda happens when you brush the hot fence with a sprinkler pipe. I was about 10. Shocking!

True story.... Back when I was in my teens, I was going out hunting with my cousin. It was before daylight as we headed out to our deer stands. We knew the land well as it was our grandparents farm, and did not bother with flashlights. As we approached the electric fence area, he said "here, hold my gun, I've got to pee". A few moments later I saw the fateful blue arc in the darkness just before I heard the scream. Yep, he pee'd on the electric fence!!!!

Thank goodness it was dark. Otherwise you would never have seen the blue arc.
Small favors for sure. And pennies from heaven.

When I was a youngun I was riding on the tailgate of a truck letting my feet drag in the grass. The electric fence was raised up across a place so the truck could drive under it, everything but the radio antenna! You can guess what happened, Yep, I completed the circuit and it almost threw me off the truck. Those chargers back then would burn trees off when they contacted the lines. I'm many decades older now, but I've never forgot that!

I remember the old fence charger. Ours had a name "Weed Cutter" or similar. Didn't necessarily knock you on your butt however every part of your body tingled for a long time.

That was my favorite way to teach my younger brothers to never just whip it out not knowing what is near by.

I saw my cousin hit a fence once that had a weed chopper on it. The way he was howling and rolling around while holding himself I am surprised he fathered any children.
I touched an electric fence with my hand a time or two and got against them when crossing them a few times and that was bad enough. I would never want to get hit by one in a tender area of my body.
