I had fords , dodges and chevys and they have all been good trucks. For work I beat the heck out of them. Always have 2 trucks one for work n one for play.
Best trucks I ever owed hands down have been chevys.

First diesel was an 03 F350 with the 6.0 and never had any real problems with it other than a couple of injectors and the front hubs needed repairs under warranty. Sold it to a friend in 07 and he is still driving it today with over 300k km on it. It was probably our favourite truck with the most comfortable seats. I now own a 12 Duramax and so far it's been flawless. Waiting for the warranty to expire and then want to do the def delete, exhaust and tune. From what I've read this will really wake that Duramax up and improve the mpg unloaded. Right now I'm getting 17-19 cdn. I've never owned a Dodge but from what friends have told me great motor poor body and interior. Maybe the new ones are better.
Ford: Found on Regina dump
Dodge: Don't overdo gutless engine
GMC: Got mechanic coming
Chevrolet: Constantly Having Every Vehicled Emphatically Recalled Over Lousy Engineering Techniques

A Texan was talking big in a bar one night about how much money he
had, how
many women he had been with and how much land he owned. A young man,
growing tired of all the big talk finally asked the Texan, "Just how
much land do you actually own"? The Texan tipped back his cowboy hat
and said to the young
man " Well sonny let me put it to ya like this, I can get in my pickup
at sunrise, drive all day long, skip lunch and still not get to the
other side of my property by sundown". The young man shot back
quickly, " Oh yeah, I know what you mean, I used to own a Dodge truck
too"!

That's so they'll rattle from front bumper to back bumper instead of just from the cab to the back bumper.
