Monopolies and cartels eventually self-destruct, thanks to the human greed that created them in the 1st place. They live much longer if the government supports them. It comes down to cost of entry for competitors, and how much government adds to that cost.

Cost of entry into the new RV market is actually relatively low. There's not a lot of government regulation, and not a whole lot of economy of scale compared to other manufacturing. Brand names are not as important in selling RVs as meeting the perceived desires of customers.

RVing being an interest of personal choice, nobody is "forced" to do anything.

If you like what Warren Buffet companies make, buy them. If you don't, don't buy them.
