FYI, But Off The Wall...No Flying Rv's

Just wanted to pass this on, yesterday the new Airbus A-380 landed at Dulles International Airport. The Aircraft came in and landed from the South and past by the Air and Space Museum. From Paris to Dulles in 8 hours and 8 mins.

The aircraft is from France so they may be Michelin just like whats on the French Concord......

If I won the Lottery, I'd seriously think about a flying RV, but maybe I'm a bit too old to learn to fly (particularly multi-engne sea) or get insurance.

My ideal would be a DH Twin Otter on amphibious floats with the interior converted into a Class A RV type layout. Floats would let you stay at marinas, since most airports don't have hook-ups. Amphibious capability would let you land at airports to get jet fuel.

I have made 3 trips on the Airbus 380 coming and going to Australia. Nice plane but to darn long on an airplane. LOL

I think you mean an extra 1.2 mil, plus taxes where applicable
