They all left together. I did not sell them anything, and they didn't pay rent for their occupancy.

W Tire... you need a bouncer with an electric cattle prod!

Just kidding so no need to post a link to federal law prohibiting use on some forms of humans.

If you are in the tire business, trust me, it NEVER ends.

I used to have a button/pin that said "It's been Monday all week".

I guess they are still together. The whole family is currently back in here, with the vehicle this time...and are purchasing a tire.

P.S. his problem was he had specialty aftermarket rims with splined drive lugnuts. We had the right socket to get the wheel off...and told him where to go so he can buy one for his car in the future.

Had a couple drop off a tire around a week ago, to just get a valve stem replaced.

He calls me about 3:30 today wanting to know the price and what time we close. I told him I had to leave around 4:45 to go to the bank. He said he would be here in a few minutes.

At 4:46 he calls back and I am still here but busy so I have my employee grab the phone. He then I guess assumes I'm not here since I didn't answer, and tells my employee to leave his tire outside as he won't be here till much later.

My confused guy is asking me about this, and I instruct him to ask the guy on the phone how he intends to pay for this tire then tell him "No pay, no tire...and he has just a few minutes before we close."

They were both here in 4 minutes.

He thought he was going to pull a fast one.

That is a universal fit wheel. Fits all lug patterns. Just needs a little paint.

Your comment reminded me of a tire we once received at our Corporate Office.

A dealer in New Mexico had a Navajo woman come in with her pickup and he spotted a "non traditional repair" on one of her tires.

Somewhere along the road she'd encountered a sharp object that put a cut in the sidewall about 1-1/2" long. Somehow someone on the reservation had gotten the tire off the wheel and she painstakingly stitched up the cut using waxed twine. Beautiful stitching. They then put a tube in the tire and had been driving it for the better part of a year like that.

The guy who oversaw our warranty program kept the tire in his office on display for years.

BTW, since the tire was one of our private branded tires, she got a new tire for free. We sold our tires at that time with a free road hazard warranty with no pro-rate for the legal life of the tire.

(we normally sell WOG fittings as 600, 2000, 3000 and 6000#) and he says it's a 100,000 pounds!!! WOW that will be some serious pressure washing there.
On one of my projects, a football stadium, my subcontractor did a sub standard concrete pour. The remedy was to bring in a pressure washer to blast away the 4000 psi concrete, save the in place rebar and repour.

He brought in a 60,000 psi pressure washer on a trailer equipped with a large diesel engine. Yup, it it perfectly capable of blasting away structural concrete.

After about 6 weeks of blasting on about 1/4 of the stadium, he went bankrupt. Bonding company finished the work at a cost of about $500,000.

If they included "Marriage" as an occupation farming might drop to #8, Matrimony taking over as #1. At least that's how some men view it.

He probably reincorporated under a different name and went right back into the contracting business. That's how a lot of builders and contractors do it around here.

Developer that built my subdivision sold his last lot with home on it and proceeded to file for bankruptcy. Went on to develop several other neighborhoods under a variety of new corporations. That way they don't have to deal with any warranty liabilities.

Mmm. I bought a smoker one time. Real nicely constructed. Dude the trailer they had it on... they took an old 30-40’s steel wheel and gas axed the center out of it and welded to the hub of a straight axle. I have never seen one like it. It had threaded on dust caps(of course the were missing). Did o mention there were no springs? I/we/they about died getting that home.

Three words.... young and stupid
