I know it would be a lot less than a psychiatrist, but not sure how much cheaper than a bartender......both of whom deal with people with emotional/mental issues like I do.
At least a bartender has a big supply of alcohol nearby to help cope with the customers.

Chief Whipping Boy Salary
Assuming you would only expect to be the "Chief Whipping Boy" the following might be of interest. I assume it would result in a lower annual income than you enjoy now.
The estimated total pay for a Chief Whipping Boy is $52,889 per year in the United States area, with an average salary of $40,765 per year. These numbers represent the median, which is the midpoint of the ranges from our proprietary Total Pay Estimate model and based on salaries collected from our users. The estimated additional pay is $12,124 per year. Additional pay could include cash bonus, commission, tips, and profit sharing. The "Most Likely Range" represents values that exist within the 25th and 75th percentile of all pay data available for this role.

Man, that is going to be a big pay bump for me....assuming I can find paying customers for such. Most just seem to want to whip for free.

Those videos on tire failures were very eye opening. But when watching those, I happened to stumble upon a video showing the dangers of compressors. Without a compressor, you aren't going to be airing up any tires. This one really shook me as I have an older compressor that I keep pressured all the time and unfortunately haven't followed any kind of regular interval if draining it. It still seems to be ok but that's only from looking at the outside.
Take a look at this video to see what can happen if the air tank fails:

She tells me to hand her keys back. I look at em on the floor, and point to them and say "there they are". I now walk out to the bay to await her arrival. She goes back to arguing on the phone again.
She then gets in her vehicle but drives away, and doesn't pull in the bay.
So that's why I need to know what my price quote should be for the next time someone is wanting a whipping boy.

You should have picked them up nicely, walked to the door and launched them into the street "CANT YOU CATCH? Or maybe thats "fetch"

AGAIN, not things I can think of in the moment. Have to file away for future.
There are always things you would love to say or do, but alas cannot. I think that is what people are counting on, so they do stuff like this figuring they will go unchecked.

It appears to be getting worse by the day. Guess all the "tolerance" is only going in one direction.

Ugh, that dredged up a bad memory. About the same age we took our bikes to the local Texaco to fill the tires. We went to the outside air pump box, cranked the pressure up, and started to fill the tires like we always did. A short while later the owner came out red-faced, swearing at us, and screaming that we almost killed someone.
I guess they had the inside inflator hoses hooked to that box on the outside or something.

You're lucky. I've heard from the big kids that some people have to pay to have it done. Go figure!

The ones who didn’t make it aren’t here… so you only see the ones who did make it. It gives the false impression that everyone made it.
Nobody can tell you about the time they died because they were riding in the bed of a pickup truck…

Ya may laugh but it perturbed me that the customer wasted my time and effort.....when she knew all along what I was going to find. She came in wanting a leaking tire repaired, and changed her story at least twice before I got it removed from the vehicle. Said one time it was her nephew who may have mounted the tire wrong, then said it was the valve stem another time.
Let me get my phone and upload the pics, to show what/where the leak was, and it was a big leak.
To be continued.
