And the J-B Weld didn't fix the cracked rim. Any good shade tree mechanic knows this requires duct tape and bubble gum with just a bit of Red Man Chewing Tobacky. Geesh!

OK, I am going to start this one off by saying "No, I am not going to post the video or screenshots!".

It was just young girls..... being young girls.

Had a carload of them come in needing to purchase a tire. Schools are out for todays holiday. I had these young ladies wait in their vehicle while we worked on the tire. While my son and I were mounting the tire, I caught one of them out of the corner of my eye in the passenger front, flash us. They were laughing as they didn't think we saw it. I think I then caught two of them flashing us. When I did look their way, they were laughing/giggling.

I was trying hard not to laugh, and my mind was racing on if I was going to say anything, and I had decided I would not....but the story is not over.

When we walked back to the vehicle to reinstall the tire/rim, they all just looked straight ahead like they were not doing anything wrong, but they all had a smirk on their face. When I took the drivers credit card, she started laughing as she handed it to me, which made all the rest of them start laughing.

I walked inside to run the credit card. My son talked to one of them, and later told me he had went to high school with her. When I went back outside to hand the driver her receipt, they were still laughing and smirking. I now decided I wanted in on the joke, even though it may cost me a customer.

I bent down to where I could see all the young ladies, who now quit laughing and just all looked at me. I am the one who started smiling and then pointed to two cameras they had not noticed, aimed directly at them. I told them that those cameras record everything just so they know for future.

You ought to have seen their facial expressions.

Had this guy call up on the phone just as I was walking out the door yesterday. He was asking about rims for a dually truck, and I told him I didn't deal in rims. He still keeps asking questions about rims, and I tried to answer him best I could, but all the while telling him I don't deal with rims. I told him several places to try. I was just wanting to get him off the phone and go home.

He still kept asking more questions almost to the point of being asinine. I was in the middle of a sentence when he cut me off and told me to hold on for five minutes as his wife was calling him on the other line. He didn't wait for my answer...which ya probably all know what it would have been.

I hung up the phone, locked the door, and went home.

When I got back to the shop today I looked at caller ID. He had tried to call back 6 times all the way up to 8:32 PM. Talk about not taking a hint.

Next thing you know he’ll be telling you he knows the owner and threatening to have you fired.

Stupid me was relearning the TPMS sensors on a customers Chevy Traverse. After I did such, I cranked the vehicle and got out. I ALWAYS leave a window down or turn it off and take the keys out, but did neither..... and when I closed the door, I knew I had messed up. The doors locked.

I had to call a mobile pop-a-lock place. They got here fairly quick and this is the gist of the story. The guy got out of his jeep, walked up to the passenger side window with a wedge and some kind of thin plastic piece... and had it unlocked in under 10 seconds.

So that is how good your door locks are for protecting valuables....10 seconds tops.

About a year ago my husband was doing regular maintenance on our F-150. A gust of wind slammed the door shut and since the engine was running it locked the door. He came inside and asked for my key, I reminded him I lost the key about a month prior. It took 12 hours to get a locksmith out here. We live in the boonies.and it was a weekend. Took him less than 2 minutes.
We bought a lockout kit that week and had a spare key made for every vehicle to sit in the gun safe. Oh yeah, my lost key was found u fee the passenger seat in the truck.

Speaking of somebody threatening me, it did happen earlier on the phone. Fortunately for me, they had called the wrong place. Unfortunately for the person at the other tire shop, I egged it on somewhat.

Guy calls me up, and as soon as I answer the phone he starts cussing me. He used that M and F word together a bunch. I'm trying to get what happened and it didn't make sense on anything. I finally asked him who he thought he was calling. That is when I realized he "thought" he was calling that other tire place I refer to a lot that will do anything for a buck. Before I could explain that he had called the wrong place, he goes into the threats of how he is going to come up here and "whip my donkey" (not actual phrase).

I guess the frustration from locking the other customers keys in the vehicle got the best of me, so I took it out on this guy somewhat. Instead of telling him he had called the wrong place, I told him to bring it on...then hung up on him. He called right back and this time I answered the phone by cussing at him, and told him to quit calling and bring it on if he wasn't a 'coward' (again not the actual word used). I then hung up again.

I guess I need to watch the news this evening and see if there was any mayhem at a tire shop nearby.
