I’m stunned to the point I’m speechless, which is quite an accomplishment. I would definitely watch the video.

Now this question needs to be asked . . .

When customers do their own work . . . Is the price that's charged discounted??

(Now I'll plan my route to take advantage of your location . . . and forewarning . . . I may know your boss . . . ; )

Perhaps it's time to lock the door, even when coming and going on days you're closed.

Kind of bold on his part.

I'm 100% certain that if you question the "customer"; the answer will be something like - "What's the problem, the door was open. I didn't do anything wrong?"

This story is probably going to be a let down, as it's not something that really should have pushed me over, but for some reason I lost it.

Guy drives up in a pickup, while another car was in the bay and another car waiting. He parks in between the bay and other car waiting with his tail of the truck kinda blocking the bay. He walks in and starts asking about some tire changing and I tell him I will be with him when I get the other two customers took care of.

He walks off but comes back in less than a minute and ask how long a wait and I tell him about 45 minutes, maybe less. He walks away. When I finish with the car in the bay, it can't back out cause of this guys truck and the way it's parked. I go to ask him to move......but we can't find him. We wait, and wait, and wait some more, so finally I go across to the store and two restaurants across the road. I find him at the store and tell him he has to move his truck, to let the guy out of the bay. He says he will be over there when he checks out. Are ya getting mad, and you can suspect I was.

He eventually makes his way back and moves the truck to let my first customer out and the second customer pulls in. As I am working on the second customer, this guy in the truck keeps trying to ask me questions, prices, etc. I firmly tell him I will get to him when I finish with this customer. He's kinda getting on my nerves now more than I should allow.

When it gets the customer in the pickups turn, what he has is a tire he mounted on a rim in the bed of the truck. He just wants me to air it up. I tell him that I have to dismount it first and check the beads to see if they are damaged/broke as this is what happens a lot when people try to do it themselves. He says it's all fine, he just can't air it up. I have to tell him not once, not twice, but three more times I am not going to air it up without dismounting it first to check the beads, and it can hurt me if a tire explodes due to someone not knowing what they are doing.

He keeps saying he is not going to pay me to dismount it, and to just air it up. I tell him NO! a few more times...and I'm not going to endanger myself. I can visually see some damaged beads even without dismounting it and show him this. From what he was saying it sounded like he also mounted it from the wrong side of the wheel.

He once again tells me to just air it up, it's fine...and something popped....not the tire...... but something in my brain.

I tell him in a louder than my normal voice that there is no way in H-E-Double Hockey sticks (not actual word) that I am going to risk my life for some Moooor-Ron that doesn't know anything about tires. You can pay me to dismount it or go somewhere else.

Don't know why I said that last part, cause it is highly doubtful someone is going to pay you AFTER you call them a moron.........and he didn't.

He left physically...... and also left me in a bad mood.

This is not something that should have made me lose it, but I did. Maybe he will go tell the owner and I get fired. Looks like I need to.

Right! Dumb and entitled is one thing (well, 2) but repeated dumb and entitled over and over will cause steam to blow from ears.

Sometimes people just need to be called morons right to their face. Maybe if enough people do it to them, they'll get the hint.

If you see an older tow truck for sale at a good price it might be a good investment. Tow these blocking vehicles your self.

When their owners come back tell them they'll have to wait for the owner of the store to show up

Isn't surviving supposed to automatically disqualify you?

Except in that one special case where you survive but are no longer able to reproduce. One such example was actually posted in Darwin Awards a few decades ago.

Remember when cars used those cartridge fuses? The glass tube ones with the metal caps on both ends? The unlucky truck owner had blown one of those on a faulty circuit and replaced it--as the story goes--with a .22 Long Rifle cartridge in the fuse area at the base of the steering column. It heated up and discharged, rendering him unable to reproduce, thus qualifying him since he had removed himself from the gene pool.

That’s why I referred to it as a rare case of him surviving to brag about it. I doubt he’d be able to reproduce after sticking “the goods” in an electric outlet.
