And a soon to be customer....here hold my beer while I do this.

In the first video the guy likely drove away because he didn’t want to talk to the police for any of many possible reasons. The second video all I can say is wow, who in the world would think they could pull sideways on a trailer like that and move it at all.

What's the odds of that poor driver in the white car getting hit by both tires.

That's what I was thinking!

Of all the places those tires could have went once they came off the spinning Jeep... both tires hit the white car! And it was moving no less!

Yeah, that must have been a family member of Alice Roth.

Clearly you've never:

A. Had a warrant out for your arrest.

B. Had a car loaded with drugs and/or guns.

C. Driven while exceedingly drunk and/or high.

D. Had a massive amount of cash on board that is subject to civil asset forfeiture.

E. Been subject to deportation.

F. All of the above.

Talking

Many years ago while on my way to work for swing shift about 3:00 pm a truck next to me lost a tire. The tire kept rolling in the same direction I was driving and crashed into the wall of a neighborhood bar. The actual bar part with a wall of liquor bottles was the wall the tire hit. I can only imagine what the impact was like on the inside.

Back in my teenage years, I worked for my brother in law. We had this super nice older retired gentleman across the road from our shop in a house on a steep hill. He would sometimes just walk over and chit chat when checking his mail, etc.

He went to visit his daughter and grandchildren in another state. He was walking across a wal- mart parking lot, when a pair of dual wheels/tires broke free from a passing semi truck. These tires actually ran over this man in the parking lot, seriously injuring him.

He had to stay up there with his daughter several months while he recovered somewhat. He had serious continuing medical issues after that, and that hill was too hard for him to walk up/down. We rarely saw him after that.

In 1981 I was working for a John Deere dealership in Willcox AZ. One of our delivery drivers lost a set of duals off of a semi trailer. The duals bounced for quite a ways out through some desert scrub before stopping. He went up the road a ways and found a pay phone and called in to the shop for help. I loaded the forklift on a beaver tail trailer and went out to where he was. We managed to get the duals back and loaded on my trailer. We jacked up chained the axle high enough to get back to the shop. The outer bearing had failed and it took me a lot of filing a little grinding but I did manage to get it all back together.

Maybe he got a huge settlement from truck owner's insurance company and moved.

My wife never allowed me to have enough cash in my pocket that would interest police if I was stopped. She usually limited me to less than $20 in small bills.[emoji57]

Had a work buddy we called black cloud. He always had bad things happen to him.

He was driving back from lunch one day and his right front wheel passed him on the road. He heard noise coming from the wheel and did nothing about it until his caliper was on the road grinding and his wheel went by.

Over beers a few weeks later he confessed he had slept with a girl and promptly kicked her out and sent her home. Turns out she was mad and loosened his lug nuts...I suspect much of his bad luck was self inflicted.

Wonder what the jeep guy did and who they did it to...

I had the ex-girlfriend of a new boyfriend do that to me once [emoji35]
Scared the living daylights out of me, but luckily i was driving fairly slowly and realized something was very wrong before it came off completely!

Dang, ya sound like there are mean women in your part of the country. Down here, they usually just key the paint job or bust windows. Usually don't try to seriously hurt someone.

They save that till marriage.

Just had a guy from Texas arrive with a Louisiana state police escort. They had pulled him over for doing 40 mph on interstate and asked him why. This was the reason below, and why he was driving slow.

How's that for neighbor state hospitality. He didn't get a ticket, and they escorted him in with flashing police lights to keep anybody from hitting him.
