Yep, even after showing her the gmc center cap and Denali made into the rim, she still refused to believe me.
She actually got an upgrade as the Denali is supposed to be the top of the line in GMC .
I just now wonder if there is a GMC Yukon or truck out there with Chevrolet center caps, unless it's a factory mess up as Mr. Dan posted Lol.

Funny when folks get so adamant about thungs, especially when they are so obviously wrong.

I just went thru that last night/this morning with my sister
My daughter came in yesterday for my mom's birthday get together. I went ahead and cooked a Thanksgiving meal as my daughter doesn't think she can come back at Thanksgiving. My sister made the comment a few times that I didn't invite them to Thanksgiving last year as I always do.
I did recall they weren't there and told her I did invite her. She was adamant I didn't. After she left I said something to my daughter who instantly recalled the situation. It all came back to me and I pulled up my text messages with my sister from that time to refresh her memory
I did get an acknowledgement just a few minutes ago where she does NOW remember being sick and thinking it was contagious so they didn't come. Showing the text where she actually thanked me for the invite last year was proof in the pudding. Lol

I'm just glad you accidentally hit the key to the left of the I instead of the key to the right...

I don't understand what is wrong with thongs, just because everyone doesn't wear them doesn't mean they don't have their rightful place. They're better than wearing nothing by a long shot.

Is it possible that the factory had supply issues? When I worked at a Ford plant in 1964 for the summer, I saw more than a few cars get upgraded to the taxi package and a couple of cars get the police version of the 390 (?).

She is absolutely right - they didn't switch the rims. They switched all of the emblems, tags, documentation, and title. She really is driving a GMC rather than a Chevy.

I was telling my coworkers about a time I was on a beach wearing thongs and they all looked at me aghast until I said you know flip-flops

Hey Bobby, can you plug this tire for me? Nearly new and lots of good tread. I rarely drive it over 70 MPH. Plug(s) should be OK, right???

Some black duct tape. It should be good for 10,000 miles.

That's what the word "Whatever" was created for.
Situations like that are also referred to as "Trying to teach a pig to sing."
Years ago I worked with a guy who'd say "My mother told me when I was growing up there would be people like that. She never told me why".
