Around here you can find wheels just like these in most any rural gravel pit. One can only hope they weren't on the car when the holes appeared.

I told him they were twenty years old and that's when he informed me that age had nothing to do with tire rubber, as it was all dependent on how much you use a tire. He also added he didnt drive this truck much at all.
I just kept my mouth shut and nodded my head in agreement as I just wanted to make the sale, which I did.
I also knew I would have a story for this thread. Lol

We made it in to town last night and any restaurant/fast food place that was open had traffic lines out in the road.
Most all of our water systems in the area are under boil orders so the restaurants/fast food aren't serving any drinks except bottled water.

Our fast food drive through lines have been insane in SoVal throughout COVID it’s a good thing we don’t eat fast food and my wife is a great cook

That's OK for us but, what kind of shape will wmtire be in still "changin' tars" 20 years from now!

Customer pulls in driveway and honks horn. I walk out and she tells me her car is sluggish and pulling hard to the left. Asks me what I think it is.
I paused for a second to make sure this wasn't one of those hidden camera type gags, but finally realized she actually wasn't aware of the problem that was instantly noticeable.
This is what we removed from her vehicle, that she stated was just purchased yesterday from a competitor.

I'd say she ran over an anvil in the road.

Probably no danger of that. Usually there is a courtship before a marriage. I'm not sure I have the proper social etiquette for dating, cause I absolutely would say something similar to this below thinking it was a humorous conversation starter on a first date:

The competitor probably told her that the tire still had "lots of life" left in it. Unfortunately, she left his lot and drove it on the road. Probably no warranty after that.
