An entire uneventful week at the tire shop?
I can't be the only one that checks in here for a good story every day.

Not much for humor this week. We are about to leave as they are having the annual Redneck Christmas parade start which comes by my shop. I just shut down as it's not worth the fight to keep people from blocking your driveways. taking over your restrooms, wanting to use your waiting room to sit while waiting for the parade, etc. Let them have the parking lot and come back Sunday and pick up trash left from it.
One mom one year wanted to connect her kids gaming system to my television so they could play video games until the parade arrived.

You should rent out your lot for food trucks.

That's an idea. When we left awhile ago I had to blow my horn at some women setting their chairs up in my vehicle path.

Your lucky the spectators are just setting up the day of the parade. Our city has a big evening parade in June and people start "reserving" prime spots up to two days prior by placing lawn chairs with a long rope across their backs. Some even blocking merchant access.
Last June the City said "enough" and posted signs saying that chairs set out before 5pm of parade day would be confiscated. Public Works trucks hauled off a lot of chairs. Wonder if they'll be selling off the unclaimed ones?

Lime green girl is wondering how you could be so callous as to lock access to your toilets. She’s regretting that second coffee and the Big Gulp she bought for the parade.
