Now I'm stressed out......

I cannot explain how badly frustrated I was after watching this, maybe towing isn't for everyone!

I was at work so I couldn't yell at the screen!!

Enjoy........

Only once in the 20+ years we have been towing have I had to unhitch the trailer, move the truck to a different angle, rehitch and move on. Yes, I have gotten myself in to a few tight places, but always managed a way out. Sometimes it was a little ugly, but I made it.
LESSON #1. PLAN AHEAD!

I would have just slowly backed it straight back down the street to a cross street I could back onto, situation fixed.

This was pathetic and all the people just keep wandering in the way. This guy can't even backup straight for 10 ft. First rule don't put yourself in a position you can't get out of and if you do make sure there no witnesses.

Alright, I confess, that wasn't me but I have gotten into some situations that were a little close quarters.

So, to help us all out, what were you saying?

I said, don't be afraid to jump the curb to give yourself more room to turn around.

Make a wider turn.

Back into the drive he was trying to pull into.

My first thought was to back into that drive as well....if for some reason (clearance?) that wouldn't work then just back it all the way out as mentioned earlier!

and then find the guy with the video to buy him off!!!!

Learning to back up is one thing...but learn your distance and the space needed for a turn !
There was no way he could do a u turn there !!!
Got everybody out of the way and back straight out...common sense !!
Like someone already said...towing is not for everyone !

I went from a tint to pop-up to a 21' boat to a 35' TT to a now 42' triple axle so I guess I'm a experience tower with 35 plus years towing and have been in a few situations, just stop and think about it and you'll come out just fine. Keep your maintenance up on your whole rig and tires to alleviate those issues also. Good luck with it.

Ms Amy's problem was not leaving Turbs standing in the road. She should have just driven off and left him after he drove into the mess and she had to drive it out.

Been there, done that. Last April got the dreaded "Bridge Out" sign on the way to a KOA.

Let me guess, you didn't believe the sign and if the bridge was out there would be a way around, right? And you got to the spot and there was no way out, no place to turn around and it was a dark country road and you had to back up almost a mile to find a place to turn around. In the dark. Needless to say, your navigator, had to walk behind the TT with a flashlight so you had an aiming point.

I bet you believe those signs now don't you?

Don't ask me how I knew!
