So long, Bobby, Lou, the Dans, and Terier. :-(

Was just swapping texts with wmtire and he told me that as of yesterday afternoon, Janet and Andy were pretty displeased about the slow handling of the Korean spam situation over the last few nights. Apparently there was an immediate dip in revenue- and this is a business after all.

Apparently they've all been demoted and Andy is bringing his own people in to manage the site from a moderator perspective. Their titles haven't been changed yet, but their moderator access has.

Hopefully this post lives long enough to see the light of day.

LONG LIVE THE SITE TEAM!

If they aren't reinstated or don't come back, my love and thanks go out to them. It'll also be my last day on the forum.

Best wishes, guys and gals.

Those people cared about the people here from a RVing standpoint. It's terrible that profit got in the way.

It will definitely affect the site and also my participation.

Bama, I will have to step in here before this goes too far. We really appreciate your post and sentiments....but Doug had an ulterior motive here for his post which I kinda tried to hint at.

Everyone should notice the timing of his post...and most importantly the "date" of it.

For what's it worth, he got me too.

Apparently many folks don't remember Doug's post on April 1st of last year. Man he sucked in a lot of folks with that one, including me.

He got me again this year, as I didn't realize the date. I saw it around 2 AM and thought he was drunk or something. I was going to text him, but my phone was in the truck, so I headed outside in my bvd's to retrieve it....so score one for Doug.

I just played one on my son. I sent him a text telling him I couldn't find my cellphone, and could he call it so I could hear it ring.....which he obliged. I had it right in front of me on the coffee table. You should have seen his expression when I started laughing as it was ringing and it occurred to him, how could I text him without it.

I knew the date because I've been watching FROG Bob dodge questions about opening Int.Rally registration in March... plus I took note of Ron's warning yesterday!

... plus I knew the Korean SPAM problem had been handled effectively and efficiently.
