You can't fix stupid... Though this might cure it - permanently.

Wow, just wow. There is so much wrong with that and nothing is right. I however really want to see the end result of this jury rig job? Did he make it? (Highly unlikely) Did he crash and burn?

So, even if he can pull it; what's gonna happen when he tries to stop it?

"But he's been pulling that way for years without a problem so it must be safe."
This should empower everyone who tows too big a trailer with too small a TV.

My first thought went along Herk's thinking of stopping it, odds that everything shifted forward and went through the back window? hahaha. Cuz I don't think he has a brake controller in that contraption

He's taken into account that he will have to stop it. That yellow strap is his brake controller. It goes through the rear door and he pulls on it when he comes to a stop sign. If you notice, his brake-a-way cable is on the other side. The Sheriff (a duffus like Rosco P Coltrane) told him that it will work fine when he took it for a safety inspection.

Wonder what weight he put in the nose of the car so the front tires will stay on the ground. I know Buicks are heavy but.......

Back in the mid 70's one of the first 5th wheels I ever remember seeing was being towed by a Olds sedan with the trunk lid removed and the hitch in the trunk.

Reminds me of the fellow who wanted to "borrow" our 3-month old F-350 to haul a fifth wheel "just 90 miles" through Arkansas.
Then we found out that the trailer had been sitting for about 12 years and "we're not sure the tires will hold air, so we may have to buy some used tires to put on it".
And then we find out the real reason they want to borrow our truck is that they dropped the fifth wheel on the side rails of THEIR truck.
No thank you...our truck is busy that weekend!!!
