What deep thinkers men are

What deep thinkers men are... I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.

My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing and I said 'nothing'. The reason I said that instead of saying 'just thinking' is because she would have said 'about what'. At that point I would have to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics which would lead to other questions.

Finally I thought about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts.

Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion.
A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say,

"It might be nice to have another child."

On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

I rest my case.
Time for another beer.

Ah, but you failed to include a payoff analysis with that - when you give birth, you have this bundle of joy - kick in the nuts gets you nothing....

Hey, you left out the part about a kidney stone...which feels about like giving birth and getting kicked in the gonads at the same time.

That turns into a teenager - similar to a kick in the nuts.

But the intensities could vary quite a bit as that is dependant on the teen.

What is this "bundle of joy" you speak of?

I have boys, a 16 and 5 year old, and I can attest that child birth brought a "bundle" of something.

But I would be hard pressed to call it "joy"

Currently having a text "talk" with my 16 year old, who thinks I should drive 30 minutes one way to bring him his book he left at home. Good timing huh!

I hear ya. Had one like that and he still has those kinds of issues but he is the Army and his wife's problem now :-) .
My other one, now she certainly has been much easier all around. As she puts it, she learned from her brother's mistakes. She is a smart one. They are both grown now and I do look back and chuckle over all the issues they had (well him more than her :-D.
